| DrumWave-Orlando.com... A fond farewell and see you in the circle... The drumming community in Central Florida is exploding and it's so exciting to see so many events happening all over with so many different people. It has been a wonderful opportunity to be a part of this growing community by hosting this web site. My original interest in drumming started when I attended a Full Moon Pipe Ceremony at Spiral Circle. I sought out other drumming circles (which at that time were more difficult to find) and came across the original Drum Wave group on Daily Om. That is what got me started with this web site and facilitating my own drum circles. (Hence the DrumWave-Orlando name.) I wanted to help others connect and find circles that were available in the Central Florida area, regardless of the "flavor" of their drums or style. Michael and Emily, who facilitate the Central Florida Drumming Community and the Dandelion Communitea Full and New Moon Drum Circles, are a very strong presence who support the drumming community in ways that I could only dream of. Michael has taken over the The Central Florida/Orlando Drum Circle Community Meetup group and is developing it as a wonderful web resource for drummers all over Central Florida. Managing the DrumWave-Orlando website has become quite a large task and I have found that I no longer have the time available to maintain this site as it deserves to be. I have received a calling to do other healing work that is requiring a larger commitment of my time. Therefore, I am closing this web site and strongly recommend that you visit the Central Florida/Orlando Drum Circle Community Meetup web site. Membership is free and you can stay informed of so many more activities and in a much more timely manner than I have been able to maintain. You can become a member and also post information for drum circles that you are familiar with or become aware of. Let's continue to grow the network by putting all our support with The Central Florida/Orlando Drum Circle Community Meetup group. I will continue to facilitate the Heal Our Planet drum circles on the 3rd Saturday at 5 PM each month at Spiral Circle. I invite everyone to join us and I hope to see you there. (Just remember this is a structured drum circle that is based on Native American circle tradition.) Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this wonderful, loving community. I appreciate all the support, kindness, and understanding that many of you have shown me. I am not gone, just otherwise occupied. But keep an eye out.
